Round Dining Tables

A round dining table seats everyone the same distance from the centre, so conversation flows and there are no corners to squeeze past in a busy Australian kitchen, dining room or open-plan living area. Every table here is 120cm across and 75cm to 76cm high, most seat four, and the Henri extends to seat six or eight. Most have a pedestal base, so chairs tuck in close, and the heights suit standard dining chairs. Allow about 3m by 3m of clear floor, and note that every table arrives for assembly with instructions included.  What you will find:  Real Carrara marble: the Gracie and Dina, on solid ash bases. Marble-look and stone-look: the Stoten, Eugene and Riven. Wood and white: oak and walnut veneer, plus painted white. Outdoor concrete: the Xander and Apollo. Warranty:

Round Dining Table for 4: Size and Seating Guide

A 120cm circular top suits four people. Allow about 90cm between the table edge and the nearest wall or sideboard so chairs pull out fully. A 120cm table plus 90cm on every side gives the 3m by 3m of floor space.

Match the chairs to the height. Aim for about 25cm to 30cm between the seat and the tabletop, so a seat height of 45cm to 50cm suits tables of this height. Browse our dining chairs or a full dining set . The Stoten and Eugene have metal legs, and the rest are mostly pedestals with no corner legs to knock knees.

Need more seats? The Henri is an extendable round dining table: it starts at 120cm and opens to an oval, 160cm with one extension for six or 200cm with both for eight. You can also compare our small dining tables , or see oval dining tables for a bigger crowd.

White and Wooden Round Dining Tables

For a white round dining table, the Cece is painted engineered wood on an organic-shaped pedestal, and the Stoten pairs a white marble-look top with black metal legs. Both are 120cm across, 76cm high and seat four. The Riven adds a sintered stone top in a white marble colour on an oak veneer pedestal.

For a warmer look, the Marta has a walnut veneer top on three curved legs, the Riri pairs an oak veneer top with a modern fluted base, and the Henri comes in oak veneer. None of these is solid timber, as they are engineered wood with a veneer or painted finish, and the Marta, Riri, Riven, Cece and Henri are for indoor use.

Wipe veneer with a soft damp cloth, dry it straight away and keep it out of direct sun. Browse more wooden dining tables .

Real Carrara Marble and Marble-Look Round Dining Tables

The Gracie and Dina are natural marble: a 15mm Italian Carrara top on a solid ash base, 120cm across and 75cm high. The Dina also comes in Blue Galaxy marble. Marble is heavy, so the pages recommend two people for setup, and our in-home assembly service covers the Sydney metro area.

The Stoten and Eugene have marble-look tops, not natural marble. If you want natural stone, look for the word Real in the product name.

Wipe marble with a soft damp cloth and mild soapy water, then dry it. Avoid vinegar, bleach and abrasive pads, which can etch or dull the surface, and use trivets under hot dishes and coasters under glasses. See all of our real marble tables .

Concrete Round Dining Tables

The Xander (ivory or grey marble finish) and Apollo (mocha mousse or green) are concrete and fibreglass tables for outdoor use. Each is 120cm across, 76cm high and rated to 120kg, on a fluted or sculptural pedestal base.

Apply a UV-resistant penetrating sealer every few months and cover the table when it is not in use. Keep the other tables indoors, as their pages do not list outdoor use. For more options, browse our outdoor tables .

FAQs

What size round dining table seats four?

A 120cm round dining table is a 4 seater. Leave about 90cm around the edge so the chairs can be pulled out and sat on comfortably.

Do you have a 6 or 8 seater round dining table?

Yes, the Henri. Closed, it is a 120cm round table for four, and its extensions turn it into a 160cm oval for six or a 200cm oval for eight.

Do you sell a 110cm round dining table?

Not in this collection. The round dining tables here are all 120cm across, 10cm wider than a 110cm table, so measure your room before you order.

Are the round marble dining tables real marble?

The Gracie and Dina have 15mm Italian Carrara marble tops on solid ash bases. The Stoten and Eugene are marble-look only, so check for the word Real in the product name.

How do I care for a marble dining table?

Natural marble needs a little care. Wipe spills promptly, dry the top after cleaning and keep acidic cleaners such as vinegar away, as they can etch it. Use coasters and trivets.

Which of these tables can go outside?

Only the Xander and Apollo concrete tables are made for outdoor use. They need a UV-resistant sealer every few months and a cover between uses. The others are indoor tables or do not list outdoor use.

Is a round dining table good for a small kitchen or dining room?

Yes. With no corners it is easier to move around, and a pedestal base lets chairs tuck in. Every table here is 120cm, so allow about 90cm clear on each side.

Do these tables arrive assembled?

No, every model arrives for assembly. Instructions are included, most pages recommend two people, and in-home assembly is available in the Sydney metro area.

Are the wooden tables solid timber?

No. The Marta, Riri and Henri are engineered wood with a wood veneer, and the Cece is painted engineered wood. The Gracie and Dina bases are solid ash.

Do you have a white round dining table?

Yes. The Cece is painted white, the Stoten has a white marble-look top and the Riven has a stone-look top in a white marble colour. For natural stone, the Gracie and Dina come in Carrara marble.
